Franco Shade was founded by Joe Navran, the member of infamous FP crew , author of F.O.R. Video series, which even now is considered as the best inline vid. At first Franco Shade had a big team ( Aaron Feinberg, Dominic Sagona etc) and was a strictly rollerblading brand. With time Joe Navran tried to expand his work and focused more on non-rollerblading audience, but still remembered its roots. Earning experience and established position, with support of such people like Arlo Eisenberg (main graphic designer) the company has gained huge popularity and keeps surprising with dare slogans and original logos.

Currently Franco Shade sponsors Rachard Johnson (USD, 50/50) and Jeremy Sodenburg (his newest profile can be found in Radius media #3.

The most recognized logotype of Franco Shade is back on classic T shirt, available in two different color schemes. ' Quitters Never Lose' slogan which can be interpreted in many different ways will catch attention among other, 'ordinary' T shirts.
