The V2 model is an update to the original OMNI boot, featuring improved materials and slight adjustments in design to enhance comfort, flex, and overall performance. One of the biggest changes with the V2 is a major improvement in comfort straight out of the box. Standard is using a new plastic material for the V2 cuff and shell, which is more flexible and forgiving for all foot shapes. The shell is also designed with extra room in the toe box to allow for a roomier fit, making it more accommodating to a wider range of skaters. Thanks to this new material, the Omni V2 hugs your foot better every time you lace up, providing a more natural and supportive fit without needing a long break-in period.

Structurally, the Standard Omni V2 features a solid boot made from reinforced, high-impact plastic for longevity and support during grinds, jumps, and heavy impacts. The liner has been upgraded for better fit and cushioning, helping reduce foot fatigue during long sessions. One of the standout features of the Standard Omni V2 is the soulplate design — it’s wide for stable grinding, yet streamlined enough to keep weight down. The frame mounting system allows for UFS (Universal Frame System) compatibility, meaning riders can easily swap and customize frames based on personal preferences.

The most unique visual trait on the Omni is the painted base. We’ve recessed the base of the boot to allow for the soul plate to wrap around the toe and heel without adding unnecessary volume. The base is painted an accent color to make even a black skate something special. This paint is protected by the soul plate, and can be easily painted over whenever you want to freshen up your skates to match your personal style.
