The Seba CJ Carbon – Black (Boot Only) is the original version of Seba’s iconic aggressive skate, built on a modern hybrid construction. It combines a rigid carbon shell with a flexible skin and an integrated liner, forming a seamless, unified structure that offers enhanced control and responsiveness. This design allows for a secure fit using just one set of laces, which tighten both the shell and the liner all the way up, ensuring the ankle is fully locked in place. Additionally, a 45-degree strap mounted with bolts effectively prevents heel lift during skating, providing greater stability and precision on every trick.

The thickly padded liner, especially its high-cut cuff, offers excellent support when landing tricks in fakie (backwards) stance. In terms of sizing, Seba skates are considered true-to-size, meaning it's recommended to choose the same size as your regular shoes. However, due to the fully integrated liner, the initial fit may feel snug. After a few weeks of skating, the materials will break in and adapt perfectly to your feet.

The carbon version of Seba’s aggressive skate is a great choice for skaters who value lightweight gear. Even with a heavier flat setup (eight wheels), the total weight remains noticeably lower than that of traditional composite models. The high stiffness of the carbon shell, combined with the tall liner, ensures efficient energy transfer, allowing skaters to make full use of larger wheels and their potential.

A standout feature of Seba aggressive skates is the soulplate, offering an impressively large soul and negative area. The gently shaped sidewalls and wide, shallow royal groove make grind tricks easier and more forgiving, while also facilitating cess slides. The design allows you to position the skate so that the wheels don’t touch the surface during slides like cess royale. Despite being mounted with UFS bolts only, the soulplate’s increased hardness provides a stable and secure platform for confident, controlled skating.

Seba’s aggressive models are offered as Boot Only, giving skaters complete freedom to choose their preferred frame and wheel setup.

The Seba CJ Carbon features a completely flat boot sole, which allows for flexible customization when it comes to shock absorber size and thickness—a standard Seba heel pad is included in the set. However, the biggest advantage of this design is the ability to mount frames directly to the boot without the need for a soul plate. This is especially beneficial when using aluminum frames with larger wheels, where precision and control are crucial for performance.
